In 2000, David Webb kindly offered me a boxer puppy, and Cherryside Cuesta Rey at Testwood (Arun) came to live here. I jumped at the opportunity as I loved his grandsire, Ch Cherryside Cabarello, in fact I judged him at his first show and gave him Best Puppy on the day he was 6 months old. I also used him to produce my winning bitch, Testwood Takoma. Arun’s sire is Seafoam Wayfarer at Seefeld, who has just died aged nearly 15 years and was a great producer.

I showed him with great success for about a year. He was never out of the cards, winning numerous Best Puppy’s, Best of Breeds, Best in Show at large open shows, Working Groups etc. He won many firsts at Championship Shows, even being in the last few for the ticket. However, two family tragedies meant that I was out of the ring for about a year, and I didn’t show him after that.

His quality progeny are becoming well known in the show ring and although he has only had limited
stud work, he has sired more winners than a lot of boxer studs who are used with great frequency. In fact he sired a Res CC winner in his first litter. He also sired Rebox Radiance at Waiheke, who won Best of Breed at Bath Championship Show 2006, and multiple Best of Breed, Best in Show and 1st prize wins at Ch Shows for her novice owner, Sam Frary (see photo). He sired Toby Stormtrooper, bred and exhibited by Nigel Hunter (an utter and complete novice ? sorry Nigel!!), who has won numerous Best of Breed and Best Puppy awards and qualified for Crufts at only his second Championship
Show.
Another promising boxer puppy by him about to go into the ring is Testwood Hint of Jasmine (see photo at 6 weeks old).

This is another son of Arun, called Wilson. He lives with his owner, Tara, in Norfolk. At the tender age of 9 months he has won a Kennel Club Good Citizenship Award and has been asked to give a demonstration at Crufts. She also intends to show him, so Wilson is certainly a combination of good temperament and good looks. Well done Tara!

Arun is the only heart-tested red boxer stud dog in Hampshire who produces winners He is a kind, gentle dog and a real character. I constantly have people ringing to ask if I know of any boxer pups by him as they have seen one of his children and think it is just perfect!!

As you will see from Arun's pedigree, the combination of top English, American
and German breeding means that he will suit the bloodlines of all bitches.

I will gladly give a free return mating if there aren't at least 2 coloured puppies in the litter, and offer help and advice throughout. I am generally able to pass enough puppy enquiries to people who have litters by Arun to sell the litter. Also, once a breeder uses Arun, they generally come back for another litter because they have so many enquiries for puppies bred the same way.

Testwood Baton Rouge (Hugo) is the brother of Testwood Bouzy Rouge. He had a very short but extremely successful show career before going to live as a pet with Andy and Alex, where he is completely spoiled and very loved. He is a proved sire and is at limited stud here. Testwood Hint of Jasmine, a prizewinning daughter of Cherryside Cuesta Rey at Testwood, is currently in whelp to him. She is owned by Nigel Hunter.
